The ''residency'' is a new concept in home ownership, offered by Pure Villas, where instead of owning a single house in a single location, the home owner buys a residency in the global community. In this way, it is possible to ''own'' and have access to many homes, in different locations around the world, with the freedom to move from one to the next as desired. Pure Villas also manage rental for residencies so that the owners can receive income when they''re not in use.
The first Pure Villas community residency is in Bali, Indonesia, for which the company is offering opportunities to buy in as a founder resident, at a one-time early entry fee, securable via a refundable holding deposit. The concept of the Bali residencies centres on using organic, renewable and natural materials to the highest eco sensitive standards, set in rice fields and surrounded by organic, edible gardens for self sufficiency and sustainability.
Building materials being used for the Bali project are all natural, including bamboo, earth cement, ceramics, coconut wood and natural organic fabrics, to create a rustic charm, with eco sensitive and high tech designs for modern lifestyles. A feature of the Pure Villas community residencies is a low cost range of luxury lifestyle services that compare to, and even surpass, any five star resort, making the properties attractive from a rental perspective as well as ownership. A range of services are offered including villa and pool cleaning, gardening, room service, nanny service and hybrid electric shuttles for running errands.
With Pure Villas, instead of buying each home in the various locations separately, the home owner buys a ''fraction'' of one of them and is entitled to occupy any of the homes in the Pure Villa communities for three months per year. They''re also entitled to buy into as many as four residencies, totalling 12 months'' usage each year. The residencies'' lifespan is 25 years and can be renewed and paid for by cash or contribution to the community.
Pure Villas have plans to roll out communities in 36 countries across six continents, with 16 locations ear marked as nomadic hotspots. Pure Villas is running an Indiegogo campaign to help grow the project, and is offering a special one month per year residency, which will not be available again at any other time.
