March Energy Simulcast Has Solutions for Policy Makers, Regulators, Utilities
The world of energy sources and services is rapidly changing, affecting the energy industry, communities and consumers. Experts will speak about the transformation, its impacts and decision-maker options, as part of the national “2016 Energy Solutions Conference Simulcastâ€. Professionals and the public can attend online.
(firmenpresse) - Energy technology innovations, the emergence of adverse climate impacts, citizen calls for clean energy, documented job increases from renewable energy and other influences have catalyzed a shift in the energy industry and opportunities being tapped by states and local communities.
The national €œ2016 Energy Solutions Conference Simulcast" is a multi-part forum for identifying and facilitating real and lasting energy solutions.
The event kicks off March 23-24 with a focus on Renewable Energy & Alternative Fuels. Access will be by computer, mobile device or in person.
Karl Rabago, a widely-known national energy expert, is the Keynote Speaker. Rabago has held positions as Deputy Secretary of the US Department of Energy, a Texas Public Utility Commissioner, a VP utility official with Austin Energy, among other roles. He is now Executive Director of the Pace Energy & Climate Center in New York.
Rabago will speak on €œUtilities of the Future: Opportunities for a Cleaner, Greener & Empowered Electric Grid". Senior officials of other national organizations will discuss a range of alternatives, strategies and real world opportunities for addressing US energy needs -- including the latest technologies, benefits of their use, trends in energy services, consumer empowerment initiatives, sustainable community approaches, models of success and more.
€œThe agenda of topics and speakers for this event is nothing short of extraordinary", noted conference chair, Marcia Elder.
The April 12€“13 Track will focus on energy efficiency, green buildings and green business operations.
The event is priced for all budgets €“ and those who can''t afford to register can even set their own amount or attend free.
