LightRiver Technologies Earns Ciena Service Accreditation
LightRiver Accredited to Perform Implementation on Ciena 6500 Packet-Optical Platform
(firmenpresse) - CONCORD, CA -- (Marketwired) -- 03/15/16 -- ., a leader in Factory Built Network™ design and commissioning, announces today it has successfully completed the Services Re-Accreditation Process and is accredited to continue to perform implementation on through December 2016. The Services Accreditation Program (SAP) allows LightRiver the opportunity to capitalize on its in-house optical service expertise, and enables installation, turn-up and test of the Ciena 6500 product. LightRiver also gains preferred access to Ciena resources, along with full sales, design and services capability.
In order to be accredited to implement Ciena equipment, LightRiver sent its team of certified engineers to Ciena training center for one week of intense, hands-on instruction. The engineers are required to satisfactorily complete an installation services exam. Once completed, they are shadowed by Ciena Quality Management Specialists for their first few installations and, upon favorable feedback, are then awarded installation service certification. Ciena quality and partner management services will continue to monitor LightRiver''s process on an ongoing basis.
