MSC Technologies integrates 6th generation Intel Core processors into its powerful 19-inch computer systems
(PresseBox) - MSC Technologies, a company of Avnet, Inc. (NYSE: AVT), offers its powerful 4 U, 2 U and 1 U 19-inch Infinity® industrial computers with industrial ATX, Mini-ITX or Micro-ATX mainboards based on the latest 6th generation Intel® Core? desktop processors (formerly codenamed Skylake-S). Additionally, powerful variants with Intel® Pentium? and Celeron® processors are available for the use in cost-sensitive applications. The 19-inch Infinity® systems with Intel® Xeon? E3 processors feature an extremely high performance.
The scalable Infinity® computers integrate the processor variants Intel® Core? i7-6700, i5-6500 or i3-6100 with four or two CPU cores. Depending on the processor types, Intel® vPro, Intel® 64, the Intel® Virtualization Technology (VT-x), the Intel® Virtualization Technology for Directed I/O (VT-d), the Intel® Trusted Execution Technology, Intel® Advanced Encryption Standard AES-NI, and the Intel® Turbo Boost Technology 2.0 are supported. The on-chip Intel® HD Graphics generation 9 features DirectX® 12, OpenGL 4.4, and OpenCL 2.x. The industrial PCs allow the connection of three independent displays with up to 4K resolution. Comprehensive security features, e.g., a secure boot process, HDD password protection and an integrated Trusted Platform Module (TPM) ensure the protection of the computers against unauthorized access.
For a flexible configuration, the 4 U, 2 U and 1 U 19-inch systems offer different variants of removable frames and up to seven free slots for additional expansion cards. The industrial computers are designed for installation in 19-inch cabinets or can be provided as stand-alone units. The robust high-class housing allows for deployment in harsh industrial environments, and can be varnished in customized colors and custom logos. The mounted air filter as dust protection can be replaced easily from the front. The powerful Infinity® systems operate in the temperature range of 0° to 45° C.
