This offering changes the game for businesses looking for best-of-breed, cloud-based UC applications. The subscription-based cloud model brings all of the features, resiliency and interoperability that have defined the CX-E premise-based offering for more than 30 years. This flexible new licensing and delivery option enables customers to deploy CX-E their way -- premise, hybrid or cloud.
The enhanced deployment flexibility of CX-E comes at a critical time in the evolution of cloud technologies and growth predictions for UC cloud services. According to Gartner, cloud UC end-user spending is expected to accelerate from 28 percent of spend in 2015 to 41 percent of UC spend in 2020.
