Organto Announces Appointment of Barresi as COO
(firmenpresse) - VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA -- (Marketwired) -- 02/26/16 -- Organto Foods Inc. (TSX VENTURE: OGO) is pleased to report that Mr. Andres Barresi will be joining Organto as Chief Operating Officer with effect on March 21, 2016, replacing Arturo Bickford who will be stepping down effective immediately. Organto''s board thanks Mr. Bickford for his efforts in overseeing the initial stages of the merger.
Mr. Barresi has extensive experience in the agricultural and foods industry in the public and private sectors. Andres started his career in the family business, a large producer of organic fruits in Patagonia, Argentina. He worked as a consultant for McKinsey & Company in the energy and food sectors and later joined Hermes Management Consulting where he became a partner, and held responsibilities in a number of countries in the Americas. He has spent the last few years working in M&A and Private Equity for Invixx Investimentos in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Mr. Barresi holds a Degree in Industrial Engineering with a major in Food Industries from the University of Buenos Aires and holds an MBA in Operational and Strategy from Cornell University.
