(PresseBox) - On the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the International Congress of Hearing Aid Acousticians in Nuremberg, representatives of the Hearing Without Borders Initiative visited the power one stand and were presented with several powerful batteries by the world''s largest manufacturer of hearing aid batteries. power one is now supporting this project once again.
Hearing Without Borders is an initiative of the Jordanian Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II, and its objective is to eliminate hearing impairments by inserting cochlea implants. Every year, about 300 children are born in Jordan with hearing impairments, causing them to suffer significant disadvantages in everyday life. Together with Prof. Dr. Annette Limberger and others, Hearing Without Borders works to give these people a better life. Annette Limberger is Professor in the Faculty of Ophthalmic Optics and Audiology at Aalen University, and established the contact between VARTA Microbattery and the Jordanian initiative.
