The Honourable Navdeep Bains, Minister of Innovation, Science and Economic Development and Minister responsible for CED, announced today that the Government of Canada has awarded a non-repayable contribution of $51,000 to the Groupe Pentathlon for nationally and internationally marketing the International Triathlon Union''s (ITU) first World Cup Winter Triathlon. The event is part of the programming for the 12th Pentathlon des neiges, the world''s largest multi-sport winter competition.
