Since its foundation in 2014 and the takeover of the archiving software ecoDMS, ecoDMS GmbH has successfully started out with 3000 corporate customers and 180 wholesalers in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.

Since its founding in October 2014 and the takeover of the archiving software with the same name, the success of ecoDMS can no longer be halted.
With 3000 new business customers, many thousand private users and numerous Free4Three users, ecoDMS GmbH has achieved a promising breakthrough in the industry. About 180 resellers from Germany, Austria and Switzerland have already included the popular archiving system in their portfolio.
ecoDMS is the first archiving system to address private users and small to medium-sized companies as well as large corporations. A fair pricing for full functionality, simple and modern distribution channels and user-friendly interface open up an enormous target group for this DMS application.
The clever combination of mature OpenSource components and professional customizing and an entirely new and modern sales model has opened up new ground in digitalisation and ''archiving’. As a client-server system ecoDMS fulfils all requirements for audit-proof document management. All documents can be archived securely, managed professionally and retrieved in a flash with ecoDMS. Within seconds users can access their documents from anywhere via desktop, smartphone, tablet and web browser. ecoDMS is easy to operate and can be installed across platforms.
The software is available for Windows, Ubuntu, Debian and MacOS. Moreover, dedicated server versions are available for Raspberry Pi 2 and Docker. The latest ecoDMS version also supports the Network Attached Storages (NAS), which provide a virtualization of containers, from Synology and QNAP. For all mobile technology and communication enthusiasts, there are also apps for Android and IOS smart phones and tablets, as well as a web client for the internet browser.
