Huawei Technologies Joins EEMBC Board of Directors to Collaborate in Development of Benchmarks

As a member of the Board of Directors, Huawei will have full access to utilize all the benchmark tools provided by EEMBC, and will help drive the consortium''s future direction, especially in the areas of internet of things (IoT), smartphones, and cloud computing and datacenters.
EEMBC was formed in 1997 to develop meaningful performance benchmarks for the hardware and software used in embedded systems. EEMBC benchmarks help predict the performance of embedded processors and systems in a range of applications (e.g. IoT, mobile imaging and autonomous driving with image recognition, cloud and datacenters, and connected devices) and disciplines (e.g. processor core functionality, floating-point, and multicore scaling).
