Issued by the U.S. patent office, patent No.9231894 enables the support of disposition notification across all devices, such as a message notification on a tablet even when a user sent the message originally to a smartphone. This patent addresses issues related to using multiple devices to send and receive messages while retaining notifications through two different methods on a server.
