(MEPS), the makers of for pharmacy inventory management, has announced the appointment of several new sales, marketing, product management and engineering staff, as well as the expansion of its Carlsbad, CA headquarters by nearly 40 percent.

The healthcare market''s continued interest in Intelliguard® RFID Solutions has led the company to expand its sales team to several locations across the country. New sales directors have been appointed to serve the Central, South and Northeast parts of the U.S., where they will provide clients and prospects with more immediate access to resources and one-on-one demonstrations. They will also assist clients in collecting and analyzing the data needed to quantify the safety and efficiency benefits provided by Intelliguard® RFID Solutions.
All of the new marketing, product management and engineering employees will join the team at the newly expanded Carlsbad headquarters. In conjunction with all of the growth, MEPS is proud to announce that Valerie Fritz has been promoted to Vice President of Marketing, where she will be responsible for both product marketing and increasing awareness through promotions. Paula Dycaico has joined the company as Director of Product Management, a role in which she will be responsible for guiding the team charged with sustaining and enhancing existing products, and developing new ones. In addition, the engineering, operations and client support departments have added a Senior Project Engineer and technical support staff. MEPS is also in the process of recruiting additional implementation, quality assurance, product management, marketing and software personnel.
The expansion increases MEPS® office space and logistics and fulfillment warehouse by nearly 40 percent. Tenant improvement construction is currently underway on the new space, which is adjacent to the current office and warehouse.
