(firmenpresse) - On January 19th, 2016 the Chicago based mobile kids yoga company, Buddha Belly Kids Yoga, kicked off their next seven-week series at The Yoga Centre in Oak Park, Illinois. Children age 3 to 10 can spend their Tuesday afternoons learning about themselves and the world while exploring the joy of yoga.
Yoga is all fun and games with these busy and big kids! Yoga is about building confidence and self-awareness through thematic classes. Each session intertwines movement with co-created poses, partner yoga, stretching, storybooks, games, and FUN! Every class ends with relaxation and guided meditation. The focus is on finding the magic of yoga while increasing strength and flexibility.
“The theme of I Am Yoga gives children the opportunity to ground themselves and connect with this bold, beautiful world,” explains Erin Bracco, co-founder of BBKY. “Our BBKY curriculum is designed to be developmentally appropriate and created with the educator’s touch. In this high-stress world, it is truly a remarkable endeavor to provide children with techniques of mindfulness and self-health. “
