The late 2015 remastering adds even more contemporary features than in prior years, with finishes inspired by current art and design and by the dazzling skies, landscapes and perspectives of north Texas. Created in collaboration with Patty Xenos Design Inc., the $9 million Ritz-Carlton, Dallas interior transformation addresses the hotel lobby, guest rooms, corridors, Ritz-Carlton Suite and Club Lounge.
A contemporary deconstructed chandelier plays homage to the Texas past, while carpets are hand-drawn and translated into Texas petal arrangements in deep layers of 12 colors of blues and golds. A fresh infusion of tonal light colors is enhanced by modern Lobby design accents of violet and rich blue, complementing the lobby''s Impressionist artwork and legendary floral arrangements.
Common areas are bolder to appeal to a young, dynamic market. Guests experience a natural transition from elegantly vibrant corridors to light, bright, soothing guest rooms.
Reinvented Southern Revival Texas graphics introduce peaceful shades of taupe and soft blues, with added features in soft-off whites and elegant platinum and bronze. Flooring accents are inspired by the beloved Texas Bluebonnet state flower. Guest bathrooms are upgraded with new wall coverings and enhanced tile flooring in showers, along with innovative electric vanity mirrors and advanced make-up mirror technology. Guest room Internet TV provides individual access to streaming web-based content from Netflix, YouTube, Pandora, Hulu Plus and Crackle.

Oversized contemporary headboards are framed in wood and upholstered in leather. The bed becomes an island, creating the feeling of a room within a room. Linens are fresh whites.
The most transformed space is the Club Lounge, fitted with a new executive kitchen and generous space to expand the venue''s Friday Night Flights and Texas/Southwest culinary offerings. The Club Lounge presents daily complimentary breakfast, lunch, tea service, cocktail and cordials for guests of The Club Level, with regional beverage highlights which include Texas wines, local craft beer by the half-keg and local sodas. The Lounge area ceiling emphasizes the distribution of light, lifting the ceiling visually. Deep plums and complementary lavenders, embossed leathers, plush crushed velvets and accents of mother of pearl create the ambience of a VIP club, while still reflecting a Southern Revival Texan heritage.

The living room is entirely transformed. Floor coverings are replaced with all new wood flooring, the ceiling with gold leaf, and windows with contemporary treatments made of three layers of wall-to-wall materials and concealed motorized screens. The room is adorned with custom-made antique bronze screens serving as jewelry for the space. Artwork is from local artists, adding the present and future of Texas to the room, while the master bedroom displays a dramatic mother-of-pearl wall treatment.
