Event participants will witness ladies and gentlemen in period dress share 19th century etiquette and the traditions of romantic courtship from the Civil War era. Gourmet tea and treats will be served.

"Pamplin Historical Park''s Valentine''s Day tea will be a celebration of romance from the 19th century," said Dr. Pamplin. "Couples and families alike will enjoy the afternoon together as they learn interesting facts about the Civil War."

Pamplin Historical Park and The National Museum of the Civil War Soldier are located at 6125 Boydton Plank Road in Petersburg, Va.
