The hot water recirculating pump is less expensive than a new traditional hot water heater and far less expensive than a tankless heater. It also saves on heating costs and water, making it a good gap-stop solution for those who don''t have the money to make a huge investment, but who need more hot water.
€œIf Habitat for Humanity thinks it''s a good solution, then it''s a good enough solution for me," says Parker. Habitat for Humanity recently featured the same hot water recirculation pump as part of their efficient hot water solution for local structures built through the program. €œAs soon as I saw that, I started carrying the exact same brand of hot water recirculation pump and began offering it to customers."
€œIt also meets the needs of customers who have a long distance between their tank hot water heater and their showers or appliances," Parker says. €œI have customers complaining that they have to wait two, maybe even three minutes to get hot water to a remote shower. That wastes a lot of water, a valuable resource."
