Ceramic Polymer: New coating product for drinking water areas approved by hygiene institute (for cold water up to 23°C)
Ceramic Polymer GmbH constantly invests in the development of new, advanced protective coatings for different industries. The innovative product ULTRA PERFORM KTW1 was especially generated for the sensitive scope of drinking water installations. Recently, the coating was tested and approved by the „Ruhr District Institute of Hygiene” in Gelsenkirchen/Germany for cold water applications (23°C) according to the coating guidelines of the Federal Environment Department (Germany).
(firmenpresse) - The purity of the coating is reflected in the results of the institute – the test values of the migration test are partially 100 times up to 240 times lower than the requested findings!
The specific organo-ceramic® fillers in ULTRA PERFORM KTW1 are naturally occurring raw materials. They are absolutely metal-free and not synthetically produced or chemically treated. Prior to their use, the particles are purified at a temperature of 1.400°C. Thereby, we obtain an extremely clean mineral filler.
In addition with a harmless, high functional epoxy resin base, the Ceramic Polymer GmbH provide an innovative and entirely nonhazardous coating product for the protection of drinking water tanks.

Unternehmensinformation / Kurzprofil:
The Ceramic Polymer GmbH produces high-quality, solvent-free protective coatings for different kinds of industries. Due to the integration of microscopic ceramic and other special particles, coating systems with outstanding physical properties such as excellent chemical resistances, high temperature stabilities and extreme abrasion resistances are generated.
The Ceramic Polymer coatings are applied directly on the blasted substrate (e.g. steel, stainless steel, concrete) without the previous use of a primer. In this way extreme adhesion is achieved.
The scopes of the Ceramic Polymer coatings are for instance all kinds of storage tanks, pipelines or process vessels for the oil & gas industry as well as different maritime constructions, waste water or drinking water applications.
