Tax Preparation Franchisees Report Giving Away About $48 million Last Year to Its Customers

Liberty Tax franchisees report having given away approximately $48 million to customers last year through various promotions at more than 4,000 offices across the U.S. This year, Liberty Tax will up the ante. Along with seasonal promotions of $50 cash with paid tax preparation, Liberty Tax will give away $1,000 per day for the first month of tax season. The $1K-a-day sweepstakes will ring in the new tax season and give taxpayers a treat at a time of the year when they may not feel like smiling.
Liberty Tax''s $1K-a-day sweepstakes opens January 15, and runs through February 15. Customers who have their taxes prepared at a participating Liberty Tax office can have their names entered into the $1K-a-day sweepstakes. Each day during the contest, one $1,000 winner will be randomly selected until the company has given away $32,000. The sweepstakes takes place in conjunction with Liberty Tax''s Cash in Flash program, which gives customers $50 on the spot with paid tax preparation through February 13. The promotion also takes place in conjunction with Liberty Tax''s Send a Friend program, which pays $50 to taxpayers for referring new customers who have their taxes done at participating Liberty locations.
