Alliance Autopropane Introduces Propalia and Delivers Extreme Winter Performance for Hybrid Vehicles
(firmenpresse) - MONTREAL, QUEBEC -- (Marketwired) -- 01/13/16 -- In November 2015, advocates for cleaner automotive engines were given one more reason to celebrate when Rock Boulianne and Marquis Gregoire jr, co-presidents of Alliance Autopropane, concluded a long-term agreement with Poland-based Digitronic Autogas Equipment to become the exclusive North American distributor of Digitronic''s groundbreaking kits to convert gasoline vehicles to hybrid propane engines.
The kits are particularly well suited to the harsh Canadian winter, having previously been tested under extreme conditions in Russia. "We conducted our own extensive trials in Charlevoix, combining the results of the kit''s performance in the Russian cold with the driving stress of the hills and steep roads of this beautiful Quebec region," remarked Rock Boulianne. "The tests established first and foremost the tremendous reliability of the systems, but also the capacity of the kits to sustain propulsion and power under the most demanding winter conditions, which is a rare feat in the field of hybrid propane engines."
The conversion kits, which Alliance Autopropane will launch in Quebec in January 2016 under the brand name Propalia, are a solid technology that embodies the know-how accumulated by Digitronic in its 20-year existence. With more than 100,000 units sold every year in over 30 countries, the Propalia conversion kit delivers the best performing propane control and management unit in the industry, in climates with temperatures ranging from -40 degrees C to 110 degrees C.
Propalia autogas kits are designed to facilitate both the installation of the elements of the gas system and the operation of the vehicle. They incorporate cutting-edge software to insure accuracy and minimize human error, and are chosen individually depending on the technical parameters of each vehicle. Currently, over 25% of the vehicles fitted with Digitronic autogas systems are heavy 4x4s, while 75% are 4, 6, and 8-cylinder engines, including turbo.
