After an extensive strategic review conducted over the last several months, we are extremely pleased to announce that we have formally pivoted the Company back into the cannabis industry. Cannabis is now legal for recreational and medical use in 23 states and the District of Columbia. The industry is generating billions of dollars of revenue, and is one of the fastest growing industries in America. "We believe there is a unique opportunity to position our Company to become one of the leaders, leveraging our Company''s in-depth experience, prior successes in the industry, and the significant industry transformation. As a first step in this transformation, we are working diligently to complete an expected licensing affiliation with Cannastrips, a technology which could revolutionize the oral consumption of cannabis," stated Jim Pakulis, CEO of Wisdom Homes. "In recognition of this transformation, we also anticipate effecting a name change within the next 60 days, to better identify our company in the cannabis space."
Beginning in 2010, our team (including our service providers) were involved in growing General Cannabis, Inc. from zero to over $16 million in annual sales, making us one of the fastest growing cannabis related businesses in the U.S. This success, combined with our experiences and industry knowledge, offers a unique corporate opportunity that we intend to fully capitalize. We expect the cannabis industry to maintain is rapid trajectory of growth for at least the next five years.
The key for us is to align ourselves with leading technology and services so that we will benefit from the industry''s growth and consumer trends. Cannastrips is the product we have chosen. Cannastrips are cannabis infused oral strips (similar to breath strips), providing an exacting and controlled dosage of cannabis, without the health risks associated with smoking or potential chemical inhalation associated with some smokeless inhalers. We anticipate executing a definitive licensing agreement with Canna Delivery Systems, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Lifestyle Delivery Systems, Inc. within the next two weeks. This will give us the ability to contract out the production, manufacturing and distribution or product for immediate release into the market.
