Fraser Institute Media Advisory: How much are Canadian governments spending on interest payments to service their debt? New study coming Tuesday, January 5
(firmenpresse) - VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA -- (Marketwired) -- 01/04/16 -- On Tuesday, January 5, the Fraser Institute will release a new study spotlighting the interest costs incurred by the levels of total government debt (federal, provincial and local) in Canada.
The study, The Cost of Government Debt in Canada, examines the substantial increases in government debt - throughout the country - since the 2008/09 recession. It also spotlights the annual debt interest payments incurred by province and calculates per person costs to taxpayers.
