Lysander Funds Limited Announces Reduction in Risk Ratings of Certain Funds
(firmenpresse) - RICHMOND HILL, ONTARIO -- (Marketwired) -- 12/29/15 -- Lysander Funds Limited ("Lysander") announced today a reduction in the risk ratings of five of its mutual funds.
In accordance with its annual review of its methodology for classifying fund volatility, Lysander has lowered the investment risk rating of each of Lysander-Canso Equity Fund, Lysander-Crusader Equity Income Fund, Lysander-18 Asset Management Canadian Equity Fund and Lysander Seamark Total Equity Fund from "medium-to-high" to "medium". In addition, Lysander has lowered the investment risk rating of Lysander-Seamark Balanced Fund from "medium" to "low-to-medium".
A risk rating of "medium" is typically associated with investments in equity portfolios that are diversified among a number of large-capitalization Canadian and/or international equity securities.
A risk rating of "low-to-medium" is typically associated with investments in balanced funds and global and/or corporate fixed income funds.
