SPoT Coffee Signs Another Franchise Agreement
(firmenpresse) - TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwired) -- 12/21/15 -- SPOT COFFEE (CANADA) LTD. (TSX VENTURE: SPP) ("SPoT" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that it has signed a new franchise agreement for a full franchise cafe to be located in Kenmore, New York; a community that was recently awarded the distinction of being among the "10 Greatest Neighborhoods in the United States" by the American Planning Association. The new cafe will feature SPoT''s unique interior design and seating options, as well as the warm atmosphere and inviting summer patio that all SPoT Coffee patrons have come to anticipate and enjoy. Customers will be served SPoT''s complete menu including its award-winning coffee, handcrafted beverages, signature light meals and gourmet pizza. The Company anticipates that SPoT Kenmore will open for business in the second quarter of 2016.
As for the location of the new SPoT Kenmore cafe, the Company is currently reviewing several alternative locations being offered to lease. SPoT Coffee is carefully selecting the most suitable location, which must meet the criteria set by the Company based on the successful performance of its existing neighborhood cafes. The Company will issue a news release announcing the new location as soon one has been selected and a lease agreement has been signed.
As the demand for SPoT Coffee''s full cafe and Express franchises accelerates, the Company continues to negotiate with several other serious prospective franchisees from across Western and Upstate New York. "We continue to receive and review new applications from qualified and serious owner operator franchisees. We are getting requests for both full cafe and Express franchises, and we hope we will soon be able to announce a fourth franchise agreement, including the conversion of SPoT Orchard Park from "cafe under license" to a franchise cafe. We are all excited with the impending opening of SPoT Hamburg in January of 2016, with the continued success of our franchise program, and with the demand for SPoT franchises from communities across Western and Upstate New York," said Anton Ayoub, President of SPoT Coffee.
