Business EoHFC service offers symmetrical speeds of 3, 5 and 10 Mbps (best effort and prioritized options), supports Metro Ethernet Forum (MEF) topologies such as Ethernet Line (ELINE) and Ethernet LAN (ELAN), and provides interoperability with fiber-based Ethernet access. WOW!''s extensive on-net HFC footprint allows the provision of symmetrical Ethernet services to wholesale clients over a wide area, and the use of External Network to Network Interface (ENNI) connections can extend these services over additional distances, depending on the individual network conditions.
The MPLS-based service features Resource Reservation Protocol - Traffic Engineering (RSVP-TE) with signaled Label Switched Paths (LSPs) and Fast Reroute (FRR). This technology supports efficient management of available network resources including fast reroute of traffic with sub-50ms switching. Competitive SLOs govern service availability, frame delivery and latency.
