Science Minister Congratulates Canadian Nobel Laureate Dr. Art McDonald

"On behalf of the Government of Canada, I would like to extend my warmest congratulations to Dr. Art McDonald on winning the 2015 Nobel Prize in Physics. The award, which he shares with his colleague Takaaki Kajita of Japan, represents global recognition for their groundbreaking scientific experiments to demonstrate that neutrinos have mass. In so doing, they have advanced our very understanding of the universe.
