New M4 Park Assist Parking Guidance System Uses Camera-Based Sensors to Guide Drivers to Open Spaces
(firmenpresse) - HAUPPAUGE, NY and NEW YORK CITY, NY -- (Marketwired) -- 12/07/15 -- (IPS) partners with Park Assist to produce an innovative solution for parking garages that enables parkers to easily locate open spaces and help them find their cars faster. Ideal for airports, hospitals and retail locations, the Park Assist M4 solution is now rolled out at the Ft. Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport, as well as other locations around the world, including Humber River Hospital in Toronto.
For the design of the next generation M4 parking guidance solution, the Park Assist engineering team worked with IPS to provide mechanical, and electrical engineering expertise. The M4 camera-based smart sensor is the most advanced parking guidance sensor in the industry. It is the centerpiece of a system that guides drivers to open parking spaces, enhances security, provides data on preferences and behaviors, and actually helps parkers find their cars.
The M4''s bright LED light-ring indicator displays occupancy status (green space open/red space full) and parking space type (regular, handicapped, etc.). With the unique Park Assist Find Your Car™ feature, it also helps parkers easily locate their cars when leaving, using license plate recognition (LPR). It also improves parking lot security because it can track vehicles both entering and leaving.
For parking facility operators, Park Assist''s Park Alerts software uses LPR technology built into the M4 sensor to set automated parking rules and alerts.
