Minister Brison and PSAC Welcome the Release of Mental Health Joint Task Force Report

The President of Treasury Board, the Honourable Scott Brison, today welcomed the release of a by the Mental Health Joint Task Force during a meeting of the National Joint Council.
In March 2015, the Government of Canada and the Public Service Alliance of Canada (PSAC) established a Joint Task Force to address mental health in the workplace.
The Joint Task Force focuses on measures to improve mental health in alignment with the National Standard on Psychological Health and Safety in the Workplace.
The report provides recommendations on renewed leadership, engagement, and education on the issue of mental health. It also considers training and workplace practices, communication and promotion, and accountability.
