How important is your money talk in dating and when is a good time? Walter says, "Money Talk is a heavy talk" don''t bring it up too soon. Waiting six plus months at best before digging in deep to the reality of your finances.
Never talk about your overspending, it will give insight to your finances and a false one at that. You don''t want the other to make false assumptions. With that being said, Walter says, "it''s never a good idea to boast about your finances either". You know what they say, "those who talk about all the money they have don''t have it". People will talk about money out of insecurity. If they do have debt or don''t make as much as they feel their partner would like, they lie to make their finances or income seem more desirable. Talking big talk on money will only make you seem arrogant or insecure.
So leave the money talk for later, you should be dating for the person, not their bank account.
Money is the number one topic of divorce and Walter says she "won''t be surprised if separation and divorce spike in 2015/16".
Love & lust have a cycle, which go in turn with the economy. When stocks are up, weddings are on the rise.
So is now a good time to invest in your love life? Walter says, "Yes". Generally, "people will be humbler, more into the person rather than superficial things", says Walter. Get out and mingle love is in the air and spring is around the corner.
With work being slow or almost non-existent for some at this time, it''s a perfect time to work on yourself. Make extra efforts to be feeling good and ready for what the new year might bring. Try adding an extra day at the gym, try work out class, clean out your closet and, call up your life coach starting working on yourself and be the best you that you can be.
Life, dating, relationships and work can''t always be planned, but you can always be ready.
