After a brief address to the students, Minister Sousa will sit for a moderated "Ask me anything" session with Jr. Economic Club students.
About the Jr. EC
President and CEO of the Economic Club of Canada, Rhiannon Traill, created the Jr. EC in 2011 with the goal of encouraging young Canadians to become financially literate. Over the last four years the Jr. EC has accepted over 6,500 high school students to attend financial literacy-focused programs and has given out over $65,000 in academic scholarships.
About Jr. EC''s Day on Bay
Since 2011 the Jr. EC has brought high school classes down to the heart of the financial district for Day on Bay, a day of interactive financial literacy programming. Each Day on Bay begins at the TMX Studios and includes workshops on the topic of finance 101, personal money management, the connection between heath and wealth, and more.
