The SSHRC Impact Awards demonstrate the Government of Canada''s commitment to fostering a culture of excellence in research that has an impact on the lives of Canadians. Chosen from among the excellent nominations received from eligible postsecondary institutions across Canada, the finalists of the Impact Awards represent the very best in ideas and research about people, behaviour, human thought, and culture.
