INSPIRE Toronto Unveils New Brand, Events and Bursary Program for 2016

The change comes on the heels of an evolving future for the organization with their official registered status as a not-for-profit thanks to the advisory provided by .
The new identity represents positive change for INSPIRE North, its team, and its partners. The new logo evokes a sense of strength, unity and diversity, while embracing community partnership and leadership across businesses and their future leaders. The reference to North is representative of INSPIRE''s growing partnerships and support that expands well beyond the Greater Toronto Area.

The launch of the new brand will be celebrated at INSPIRE North''s "Inspire the Night" event on November 17, 2015 at on King West in Toronto. The event is dedicated to recognizing our community of sponsors, speakers, student leaders, and committee members for their continued support. Symbolizing their continuous growth and expansion, the event will serve as the official launch of our new brand INSPIRE North, and showcase new developments for the upcoming year.
INSPIRE North will also introduce a new bursary program for students thanks to the support and dedication from long-time sponsor . INSPIRE North now has a wide range of bursaries for each individual campus event in addition to new leadership bursaries for student campus leaders and their committee members at each university. Student teams have the chance to showcase their experience and leadership skills from working with INSPIRE. Students must fill out bursary applications through an online form and winning candidates will be announced at the night of their campus event. As part of this initiative, the bursary application program has become a streamlined, user-friendly, online process benefiting students by creating easy accessibility to applications, efficiency as a digital format and convenience.
In staying aligned to the organization''s mandate, INSPIRE North also introduces 5for5 which aims to have leaders answer five thoughtful questions that will motivate and empower audiences in a short, fun, and knowledgeable video experience. Each video will highlight one leader responding to questions that derive from topics related to life and work experience, perseverance, and leadership skills. INSPIRE North''s 5for5 interviews are lead by our own Ram Accoumeh, a Toronto digital media and video director who has worked with personalities such as Jully Black and projects associated with Colin Mochrie for Alzheimer''s Month, Drake in 5AM in Toronto, and as a personal photography correspondent for Izzeldin Abuelaish.
For 2015/2016 academic year, INSPIRE North will host conferences with inspirational Canadian leaders at York University, Schulich School of Business, University of Toronto (St. Michael''s College), Rotman School of Management, University of Guelph, and Ryerson University. The campuses with confirmed dates include University of Toronto''s Rotman School of Management on November 18, 2015, Ryerson University on February 9, 2016, and York University the second week of March 2016 with details to be determined.
