The company and its franchisees will donate $2,000 to the Royal Canadian Legion Poppy Campaign
(firmenpresse) - BRAMPTON, ONTARIO -- (Marketwired) -- 11/09/15 -- In honour of the brave men and women who have served in Canada''s Armed Forces, and its franchisees has donated $2,000 to the Royal Canadian Legion Poppy Campaign. Heart to Home Meals is a service that makes and delivers frozen meals for seniors.

Heart to Home Meals is registered with Veterans Affairs Canada as a supplier to its Veteran''s Independence Program which helps veterans remain healthy and independent in their principal residence.
"I have been a customer of Heart to Home Meals through the Veteran''s program for five years," said Walter Jocey, a 91-year-old World War II veteran. "As I''m part of the program, my meals are free and because Heart to Home Meals delivers directly to my freezer, I don''t have to worry about getting out to the store. This is a huge help because I''m not able to get out and about as much anymore."
