leanIX 2.0 is getting the IT even closer to the business
New survey add-on opens up exciting new possibilities to collect business-wide information on IT landscapes
(firmenpresse) - Bonn, 4 November 2015. LeanIX, provider of the innovative Enterprise Architecture Management (EAM) tool leanIX as Software as a Service (SaaS) is proud to announce the release of version 2.0. With this release, leanIX continues to bring IT and business closer together.
The most significant innovation is the introduction of the new survey add-on, the first of its kind for a SaaS EAM tool. The new add-on allows users of leanIX to quickly and easily set-up surveys about all aspects of their IT, for example applications. Data gathered from respondents is immediately integrated into the information held on those applications in leanIX. Keeping data quality up-do-date has never been easier and getting the right people in the business involved is extremely simple.
“This is a functionality a lot of our clients will benefit from,” said Jörg G. Beyer, Managing Director of LeanIX. “On the one hand, it will support them in keeping their data quality up, something which is always a challenge for every IT division. On the other hand, they can also use the survey add-on to run ad hoc surveys to gather urgently needed information on all IT landscape-related issues, like IT security and data privacy. We are very pleased that we have been able to develop this revolutionary new add-on to to continue to support them in their efforts to close the gap between IT and business.”
Other features that were added in release 2.0 include a new fact sheet for interfaces, cloning of fact sheets and a time axis in matrix reports. These new features mean significant improvements for leanIX users regarding the management of application interfaces, release management, as well as even better application and technology roadmaps. All of these features are more and more critical not only to IT division but to the entire business as the digitization process gathers speed.
The new features will be available automatically from 6 November 2015, while the survey add-on can be added on demand.
