(firmenpresse) - TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwired) -- 11/02/15 -- Cineplex Entertainment ("Cineplex") (TSX: CGX) announced today that it is giving fans a second chance at opening weekend tickets for the highly anticipated film, Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Canada''s largest film exhibitor will release a second block of tickets for shows at 115 theatres across Canada. The film opens on Friday, December 18, 2015 with advance shows on December 17, 2015.
"This is the highest demand for advance tickets that we''ve seen in our history for any opening weekend. Star Wars: The Force Awakens is already breaking records and its only October," said Pat Marshall, Vice President, Communications and Investor Relations at Cineplex Entertainment. Tickets will be available at the Box Office and on Cineplex.com on Tuesday, November 3, 2015 at 3:00 PM EST. Fans who missed their chance when the first block of tickets were released alongside the film''s on October 19, 2015, are encouraged to reserve their tickets and join the millions of Canadians that will enjoy the film in theatres this December.
