Baldwin Hardware Design Council Converges on New York City for Inaugural Design Summit
Design Council, Baldwin Executives Share Ideas, Inspiration During Archtober Event
(firmenpresse) - LAKE FOREST, CA -- (Marketwired) -- 11/02/15 -- , a leading brand of the Hardware & Home Improvement (HHI) division of Spectrum Brands Holdings (NYSE: SPB), recently hosted its Design Council members at the first Baldwin Design Summit in New York City on October 14 and 15. The two-day event created a reciprocal opportunity for Council members to share ideas with each other and Baldwin executives, as well as a chance to experience the best of New York''s architectural highlights.

"Throughout their two days in New York, council members shared ideas, collaborated with Baldwin''s product development team and provided an invaluable amount of feedback that will shape the future of Baldwin Hardware."
The Design Summit consisted of an intense series of strategy sessions in which council members worked with the Baldwin team to discuss industry trends, Baldwin products and the overall Baldwin brand. Members also enjoyed time exploring -- the world''s largest materials library -- and a media roundtable to gain further insights on promoting their work through editorial coverage and social media. An AIA-led architectural tour of New York City and a private screening of the movie capped off the two-day event. Members received CEU credits for both the boat tour and the film screening, which was part of the at the Bow Tie Chelsea Cinemas.
The Baldwin Design Council is made up of 25 architects and designers from around the country who collaborate with each other and Baldwin to shape the future of design.
