Unissant Names David P. Dougherty Chief Growth Officer and Executive Vice President

Dougherty as the company''s first Chief Growth Officer and Executive Vice President of Business Development. In this capacity, he will oversee business development and growth strategies across all of the company''s markets. Dougherty will report to Unissant''s Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Manish Malhotra, and will help him guide the company''s strategic vision and continued growth.

Dougherty is a senior executive with over 35 years of leadership experience in management, sales, and engineering. Throughout his career, he has led diverse teams to execute complex business and information technology (IT) initiatives for the Department of Defense and civilian agency clients. He is expert at managing large-scale technology integration, design, and implementation programs.
Dougherty also excels in business development. Despite recent economic uncertainty and cutbacks in federal spending, he has consistently developed successful strategies to win new business and expand services to existing clients.
Prior to joining Unissant, Dougherty was the Vice President of Business Development at ASM Research, an Accenture Federal Services Company, where he drove ~$500M in new business acquisition over the past three years. He has had vast success in the identification, acquisition, expansion, and retention of long-term, high-volume IT services contracts and programs in the federal government marketplace.
Dougherty has held executive positions with RWD Technologies, Sysorex Federal, and GTSI. He also served in program management roles for major DoD weapons systems programs at Standard Technology and Boeing.
In addition, Dougherty has served in key roles for numerous Mergers and Acquisitions, for both acquired companies and after being acquired.
