Judicial Recount to Be Held in the Electoral District of Barrie-Springwater-Oro-Medonte

(firmenpresse) - GATINEAU, QUEBEC -- (Marketwired) -- 10/27/15 -- The Chief Electoral Officer of Canada, Marc Mayrand, announced today that there will be a judicial recount of the votes in the electoral district of Barrie-Springwater-Oro-Medonte (Ontario). Following validation of the results in the electoral district, the difference between the two leading candidates was 108 votes. A candidate requested the recount.
The recount will begin on Friday, October 30, 2015. The results of the recount will be published on the Elections Canada website after the recount is completed.
