Ranta, a Director of the Company, has received the 2015 Distinguished Alumnus of the Year Award from the Mackay School of Earth Science and Engineering (formerly known as the Mackay School of Mines) at the University of Nevada, Reno. In addition to a long and distinguished career in progressively senior positions with companies such as AMAX. Echo Bay Mines, Phelps Dodge and Rare Element Resources Ltd., Don is a past President and board member of the Society for Mining, Metallurgy, and Exploration (SME) and a former Vice President, Finance and board member of the American Institute of Mining, Metallurgical, and Petroleum Engineers (AIME).
