First Hackathon at the Open Source Monitoring Conference

Soon it will be time again to Meet | Discuss | Experience - Open Source! But this years is special: The Open Source Monitoring Conference has its 10th anniversary and will attract once more an international public of IT managers, systems and network administrators, developers and other IT professionals. This year for the first time, a hackathon will take place on the fourth conference day.

(firmenpresse) - Nuremberg, 22 October 2015 – Europe´s trend-setting Open Source Monitoring Conference provides an ideal platform to discuss with open source experts. The range of topics is adapt to beginners up to advanced users who can expect talks about monitoring solutions for very huge environments or cluster systems.

Besides two high-class presentation tracks, the bilingual conference also provides four intensive workshops from November 16 to 18.

On the fourth conference day, developers and users have the opportunity for the first time to participate in small groups at the hackathon in order to work together on projects and solutions to the following topics:

-Metrics & Trending
-Icinga 2 & Icinga Web 2
-Plugins & Best Practice
-Logmanagement

Many specialists for the different topics can be expected and with that and an exciting and interesting day.

Additionally to the conference ticket two different hackathon packages are available at the price of 299,00 € with accommodation or without accommodation for 199,00 €. Both packages include full-board, a joint dinner on the day before the conference as well as free WIFI.
The evening event also offers a great opportunity for networking and the exchange of ideas and best practices with other users in a relaxed atmosphere.
