Patent Covers a Method for Processing Waste Glycol

("Oxbridge Waste"), an emerging leader in waste sustainability, focused on the development of innovative recycling, disposal and zero-waste technologies, today announced that the United States Patent and Trademark Office has issued US Patent Number 9,145,345, "Method and Apparatus for Processing Glycol". The patent covers a method of treating contaminated waste glycols for reuse.
Inventors John Lorenz II and Richard S. Geib developed this technology to cost-effectively remove contaminants from any type of waste glycol, returning the material to its original industrial specifications. The patent covers a multi-stage treatment system including a proprietary chemical pre-treatment phase that is configured to receive feedstock from multiple waste stream sources containing glycol.
