Review of Results of the Beaconsfield Citizen Forum
Citizens and their quality of life at the heart of concerns
(firmenpresse) - BEACONSFIELD, QUEBEC -- (Marketwired) -- 10/14/15 -- Today, the City released the results of the consultative process that took place last spring. It builds among others on the comments and proposals received through the survey MY CITY, ITS FUTURE, the Citizen Forum and focus groups, among other sources - a process which allowed the City to know how the population perceives the services the City offers and to establish the main concerns of residents.
Mayor Georges Bourelle welcomed the conclusions of the report which acknowledges the relevance of the actions of the City of Beaconsfield in various matters, ranging from communication and civic participation, adaptation of sports, recreational and cultural facilities, park development, yacht clubs, urban planning, protection of architectural heritage and the environment to waste management and water.
"As a municipal administration, we have the responsibility to ensure that Beaconsfield citizens enjoy a good quality of life and efficient services in the short, medium and long term. The results of this unifying exercise will help confirm and complement the issues raised by residents and to develop the City''s strategic plan, "said mayor Bourelle.

On October 5, Council presented the results to the Citizen Forum participants to complete this consultation process. The results of this citizen consultation are available on the City''s website at beaconsfield.ca.
