Awards Presented to Vendors Achieving Leadership Status in Annual Wisdom of Crowds Business Intelligence and Enterprise Planning Research
(firmenpresse) - NASHUA, NH -- (Marketwired) -- 10/13/15 -- Dresner Advisory Services today launched a new industry excellence award program to recognize top vendors who achieved a leadership position in the 2015 Dresner Advisory Wisdom of Crowds® flagship Business Intelligence (BI) and Enterprise Planning Market Studies. The annual research reports are based on data collected from end users and provide a real-world perspective on the BI and planning markets.
The Dresner Advisory Services Industry Excellence Awards recognize vendors who achieved high rankings in one or both of two new market models unveiled in this year''s flagship BI and Planning reports. The Customer Experience model considers the real-world experience of customers working with these technology solutions on a daily basis, plotting vendor touch points -- sales and service -- and customer sentiment surrounding product and technology. The Vendor Credibility Model considers a vendor''s relationship with their customer, plotting value for price paid against a "confidence" score comprised of integrity and recommend measures.

Value leaders are vendors with solid perceived value, Technology leaders are vendors with strong product offerings and Service leaders demonstrate strength in sales, support, and consulting.
This year''s combined Value and Technology Leader for Business Intelligence is Qlik.
Value leaders for Business Intelligence are: Infor; MicroStrategy; OpenText; and Pentaho, a Hitachi Data Systems company.
Infor earned a combined Value, Technology, and Service award for Enterprise Planning.
Overall leadership awards recognize vendors who demonstrate excellence across all categories of measurement: technology, sales/service, value, and confidence.
This year''s Overall Leaders for Business Intelligence are: Birst; Dimensional Insight; Dundas Data Visualization, Inc.; Information Builders; Klipfolio; Pyramid Analytics; RapidMiner; Tableau Software; and TIBCO Software Inc.
