Sahara, Suite 104 in Las Vegas, Nevada 89117. This will be Dr. Troell''s 16th body contouring live surgical workshop. The focus of this workshop is for Facial Plastic Surgeons.
This live educational activity is designed for physicians and other interested healthcare practitioners to enhance clinical competence and improve patient care by increasing knowledge of the benefits, limitations and risks of current technologies, techniques and equipment used to perform liposuction, facial fat grafting, facial implants and fillers, stem cell transfers, and skin resurfacing. Discussion and hands-on demonstrations will include facial and body fat grafting, stem cell transfers, platelet rich plasma preparation, natural breast augmentation, gluteal sculpting (Brazilian Butt Lift) and high definition liposuction.

Following the activity, participants should be able to:
Summarize the benefits and limitation of different liposuction techniques
Discuss the benefits and limitations of non-invasive body contouring devices
Evaluate the benefits and limitations of liposuction & fat processing devices
Perform , Natural Breast Augmentation & techniques
Define the science of stem and regenerative cells and platelet rich plasma in fat grafting
Review FDA guidelines regarding stem cells & their therapeutic uses
List the benefits and limitations of fat harvesting devices and techniques
Evaluate the efficacy of noninvasive versus minimally invasive Cellulite Treatment comparing laser and ultrasound technologies
Use platelet rich plasma in topical applications, surgical glues, and "Vampire Facelifts"
List the benefits and limitations of facial radiofrequency skin resurfacing devices

Robert J Troell, MD, FACS is director of The Institute of Advanced Body Sculpting and quadruple board-certified to include the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, American Board of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery, and the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery. He was the first surgeon board-certified by the American Board of Sleep Medicine. He completed a residency in Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery and fellowship training at Stanford University Medical Center. Dr. Troell currently practices in Las Vegas, Nevada, and Corona and Beverly Hills in California.
