Feed My Starving Children to Partner With K-LOVE''s Fall Pledge Drive
More Than 700,000 Meals to Be Sent to Children in Need During Pledge Period, Oct. 6-16
(firmenpresse) - COON RAPIDS, MN -- (Marketwired) -- 10/05/15 -- In partnership with K-LOVE Radio, Feed My Starving Children (FMSC) will send 40 nutritious MannaPack™ rice meals for every $40 monthly pledge given during the station''s fall pledge drive from October 6-16, 2015. More than 700,000 meals could be provided by the end of the partnership.
"We are passionate about K-LOVE''s work and are excited to not only bring the message of Feed My Starving Children to a new audience, but also to raise awareness about the hundreds of thousands of children around the world who do not have enough to eat," said Mark Crea, Executive Director/CEO of FMSC.
Crea explained that the meals provided during this partnership make up a small but significant portion of the meals that FMSC sends year-round to children in need. This year FMSC''s goal is to produce 270 million meals.

A Christian non-profit founded in 1987, Feed My Starving Children tackles world hunger by sending volunteer-packed, nutritious meals to 70 countries, where they''re used to operate orphanages, schools, clinics and feeding programs to break the cycle of poverty. Last year, FMSC welcomed nearly 900,000 volunteers to pack more than 229 million meals.
