Dominion Citrus Income Fund (TSX: DOM.UN) and Dominion Citrus Limited (TSX: DMN.PR.A) Announce Resignation of CEO and Chairman
(firmenpresse) - TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwired) -- 10/01/15 -- Dominion Citrus Income Fund (TSX: DOM.UN) (the "Fund") and Dominion Citrus Limited (TSX: DMN.PR.A) ("DCL") announce the resignation of Winston Ash as President and Chief Executive Officer and as Chairman of the Board of Directors of DCL. At a meeting of the Board of Directors of DCL held on September 30, 2015, Mr. Ash tendered his resignation effective October 30, 2015 as President and Chief Executive Officer and as a member of the Board of Directors of DCL.
Mr. Ash was involved with DCL in the 1990''s before it became a public company and, most recently, he has been involved since 2008. Since 2008, he has held either the position of President and Chief Executive Officer of DCL or the position of Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer of DCL. He has served on the DCL Board since 2009. The Board of Directors of DCL and the Board of Trustees of the Fund express their gratitude to Mr. Ash for his many contributions over the years and wish him the very best in his retirement.
The Board of Directors of DCL will work closely with management to manage the transition and a search for a replacement for Mr. Ash will be launched shortly. Mr. Ash has offered his services following his retirement on an as-needed basis.
