Inphi Announces Smallest SMT Quad Linear Driver for Coherent Applications at ECOC 2015
Meeting the Needs of Coherent Systems Growth in 100G/200G
(firmenpresse) - VALENCIA, SPAIN -- (Marketwired) -- 09/28/15 -- Inphi Corporation (NYSE: IPHI), a leading provider of high-speed, mixed signal semiconductor solutions for the communications, computing and data center markets, today announced the sampling of a new product in its 32GBaud Linear Coherent Product Family. Inphi now introduces the IN3217SZ, a quad linear differential to single-ended Mach-Zehnder Modulator Driver in a Surface Mount Technology (SMT) package. The new SMT quad linear driver extends the product portfolio by utilizing cost effective packaging for higher volume 100G/200G coherent long haul and metro optical interconnect applications.
With a 14x9mm small form factor package, the IN3217SZ directly interfaces to Lithium Niobate (LiNbO3) or Indium Phosphide (InP) MZ modulators, in target systems from line cards; 4x5 modules; CFP, or CFP2 modules. The new low power design, together with industry leading performance enables next-generation long haul and metro networks to address highly integrated line card designs and advanced pluggable modules.
