(firmenpresse) - The EMSCHERGENOSSENSCHAFT (EMSCHER COOPERATIVE) was founded in 1899 as the first German water industry association and is responsible for the Emscher river and its tributaries. Since 1926 the LIPPEVERBAND (LIPPE ASSOCIATION) has been responsible for the drainage basin of the river of Lippe. The most important tasks of both organisations include wastewater treatment, safeguarding of water runoff, flood protection and water maintenance. Legally, EMSCHERGENOSSENSCHAFT (EG) and LIPPEVERBAND (LV) are two entities of public law, but they have been combining their expertise for more than 85 years and form an administrative community. The benefits of this partnership are obvious: considerable synergies through increased knowledge, experience and efficiency.
The association EC / LV is committed to the continuous optimisation of its processes and thoroughgoing quality improvement measures. In order to meet this objective it has decided to purchase the software comm.fleet, a reliable and modern product of community4you AG, with which the 550 vehicles (cars, trucks, special vehicles and trailers) of the entire fleet will be managed.
The professional fleet management software covers the full range of fleet management requirements including interfaces to associated business areas such as accounting or procurement and can be optimally embedded into existing system environments. Regardless of whether a car or a truck fleet, a fleet of municipal vehicles, industrial trucks, forklift trucks or a mixed fleet - comm.fleet can conform to all special requirements.
The extensive functionalities in comm.fleet enable a comprehensive cost management, registering and displaying of technical resumes, management of the vehicle master data as well as of important due dates and of course of contact data. Last but not least the electronic claim record and the functionality to archive important documents perfect the process of an efficient, paperless fleet management.
The entities of public law EG / LV create with the help of comm.fleet individual reports, which form the basis for the evaluation of the monetary development of the fleet costs. It is beneficial that the informative reports are summarised in a management dashboard and are clearly visible for the user and for example thereby cost drivers can be quickly detected and eliminated.
