Worldwide Leaders of the Maker Movement Join the Conversation at MakerCon: How Making Is Changing the New York Business Economy

The morning will begin with some inspiring words focusing on the impact of Making in the greater New York area. Minerva Tantoco, the first chief technology officer of New York City and Margaret Honey, president and CEO of the New York Hall of Science, are both leading the Maker Movement locally by promoting the growth of startups, technology, and innovation in education, business, and science.
Keynote conversations will be led by James Fallows, national correspondent for "The Atlantic"; Dr. Ellen Williams, director at Advanced Research Projects Agency of the Department of Energy; and Harbrinder S. Kang, Vice President, Corporate Affairs at Cisco Systems, Inc.
