eyevis Completes Display Installation for Major Regional Broadcaster
TV Oberfranken video wall project completed at studios in Hof
(PresseBox) - Major regional TV broadcaster TV Oberfranken has begun using eyevis technology to display information to its viewers in their new studio.
The installation at the station studio in Hof features seven monitors from eyevis unique broadcast series. The displays type EYE-LCD-4600-M-USN-LD-BC feature a optimized LCD panel structure and Direct-LED backlight, to maximise the quality of what viewers see.
The 46-inch seamless display is a key part of broadcasts and has been incorporated into the set design. In a 3x1 and two 2x1 configurations the screens provide additional information to the viewers or design element that complement the new studio set design.
Thanks to the ultra-thin bezel design of the displays the resulting gap between the images of neighbouring displays measures only 5.7 mm.
The client chose the eyevis products after an on-site demonstration. Thanks to the implementation of eyevis? signal converters and EYE-4-SPLIT image processors, the installation allows the processing of a HD-SDI Studio Signal in a video split wall.

The EYE-LCD-4600-M-USN-LD-BC provides several functions and features which make it the ideal solution for the installation of video walls in broadcast environments. Especially for installations in TV studios the devices are optimised for the display within the colour temperature range required in light conditions in broadcast studios. The display provides native full HD resolution (1,920x1,080 pixels) on a 46 inch screen. Latest LCD technology guarantees best brightness and contrast for perfect image representation. The EYE-4-SPLIT video wall controllers are used to distribute the broadcast graphics to the screen configurations in the studio.
