BlackRock Asset Management Canada Limited and its iShares Business to Join the CETFA
(firmenpresse) - TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwired) -- 09/16/15 -- The Canadian ETF Association ("CETFA") is pleased to announce that Blackrock Asset Management Canada Limited (BlackRock Canada) has joined the Association.
"CETFA welcomes BlackRock Canada as the newest member of the CETFA. CETFA now has six ETF provider members that collectively represent 95% of the ETF assets in Canada," said Atul Tiwari, Chair of the CETFA. In addition, we have 22 affiliate and 14 portfolio manager members. All of this makes for a very strong voice representing the ETF industry in Canada, and fulfilling our mission of providing information, education and access to resources on the benefits of ETF investing.

Globally, the exchange traded products (ETPs) industry remains on record pace with US$202.4bn year-to-date versus US$181.7bn in 2014. And Canadian-listed ETPs gathered C$1.3bn during the month of August, extending their streak of consecutive inflows to 19 months(1).
